Catherine

Dental Hygienist

Catherine is our hygienist on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  She graduated from Idaho State University in 1981.  After graduation, she worked for 10 years in Southern California and then moved to Flagstaff, where she currently resides with her husband and 2 labs.  Catherine believes poor oral health can have an adverse effect on general health.  Likewise, systemic conditions can make it more difficult to keep the mouth healthy. 

Each appointment is designed to optimize the patient’s ability to care for their mouths and achieve overall health.  Along with working full time, she served for many years in several positions with The State Dental Hygienists’ Association.  When not working, Catherine enjoys hiking with her dogs, sewing, and gardening.

Shelby

Dental Hygienist

Shelby is our hygienist on Fridays.  Shelby attended high school in Yuma, Arizona prior to moving to Bullhead City to obtain her associate’s degree in dental hygiene.  She then completed her bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University.  She has lived in the Verde Valley for over three years and considers it her forever home. She spends a lot of time outside with her two Australian Shepherds Arlo and Dakota.  If she’s not hiking or throwing the frisbee, she is likely at home watching a true crime documentary! The aspect she loves most about being a dental hygienist is the relationships she forms with her patients. 

Stacey

Dental Hygienist

Stacey is in the office every other Tuesday.  She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1993 and never left Flagstaff, AZ.  After graduation, she became a part time clinical instructor at her alma mater.  Once she stepped away from that, she became active with the Arizona State Dental Hygienists' Association.  Stacey also spent many years on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff.  When not working, she loves to ski, hike and garden.

Sharon

Receptionist

Sharon is one of the friendly smiles to greet you upon your arrival at the front desk.  She has been in the field of dentistry since 1979, beginning as a dental assistant.  She will always do her best to answer any questions.  Her goal is to ensure that you have a smooth, non-stressful visit from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave with a lasting positive experience.  When not at the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband, her Poodle Harvey, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Nichole

Dental Assistant

Nichole works both in the front as a receptionist and in the back office as a dental auxiliary.  She is an Arizona native, moving to Cottonwood in 2012 to pursue a career in the dental profession and has worked exclusively for Dr. Ditterline.  She is certified in dental radiographs.  Her knowledge of scheduling and treatment presentation along with her knowledge of sterilization and clinical procedures allows her to meet patients in all stages of the dental experience and help make their visit to our office as relaxing as possible.  Nichole enjoys spending her time outside of work with her son Oliver.  She also enjoys reading books and has a passion for music.

Wynona

Office Manager

Wynona, known around the office as Peach, has been working for Dr. Ditterline since 2007.  She has extensive knowledge as an assistant as well as with dental insurance.  She strives to answer all questions and concerns with honesty to put patients at ease.  She is certified in dental radiographs.  Wynona is a native to Arizona, moving to Cottonwood full time in 2010.  She bought her first home in Cottonwood in 2014 and loves the small town atmosphere over the hustle and bustle of living in a big city.  She enjoys spending time with her cat, Charlie, and going to the movies.
